Quantum optical implementation of Grover's algorithm.
We present a scheme for a quantum optical implementation of Grover's algorithm based on resonant atomic interactions with classical fields and dispersive couplings with quantized cavity fields. The proposed scheme depends on preparation of entangled states and is within current state-of-the-art technology.
متن کاملOptical implementation of quantum orienteering.
We present results from an optical implementation of quantum orienteering, a protocol for communicating directions in space using quantum bits. We show how different types of measurements and encodings can be used to increase the communication efficiency. In particular, if Alice and Bob use two spin- particles for communication and employ joint measurements, they do better than is possible with...
متن کاملdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
NMR implementation of a quantum scheduling algorithm
The scheduling algorithm solves the intersection problem, i.e., the problem is to find common elements in two sets. Let Alice and Bob be two distant parties who wish to collaborate on a common task. They each have a schedule listing N slots of time. Their schedules can be represented as two stings if Alice and Bob each have N qubits. For each person, the state |1 > denotes that a slot is availa...
متن کاملSynthesis and Optical Study of CdZnTe Quantum Dots
The comparison of growth processes and fluorescent properties of CdZnTe semiconductor quantum dots that are synthesized in different concentrations of Zn2+ in water are discussed in this paper. The samples are characterized through absorbtion (UV) and photoluminescence spectra (PL). The results show that when the reaction time is prolonged, the absorption peak and fluorescent emission peak pres...
